Procedure for operating,testing and maintaining

This smoke detector has already been in working condition after being installed and its LED will flash every minute.As soon as at senses the combustion particles,the detector will let out sharp and loud pulse alarm until the air becomes clean again.

Test:

Push the test button with  your finger for at least 3 seconds,a sharp and loud pulse alarm will be heard which means the detector is working properly,meanwhile the LED flashes quickly.You can also fan the smoke into the sensing chamber to test the detector.(Test the detector weekly)

Simple maintenance:

Clean the detector every 6 months in order to keep it in a good working condition.First shut off the power:clean off the dust and dirt with soft brush,then turn on the power again.

If any of the following problem occurs:

Pushed the test button,but no alarm was heard;

Fanned the smoke into the sensing chamber,but no alarm was heard;

LED did not flash regularly any more

Try any of the following methods to resolve it:

Check the power supply

Clean the detector simply

Check up the detector thoroughly by an electrician
